Moving up a level, its ingredients gives you healthy skin as it helps to detoxify you inside and out. And on the other end of the spectrum? It is also credited with fighting cancer, preventing dementia and diabetes! It is also said to protect against things like high cholesterol and heart disease. Not bad, right? For all these benefits, it’s only smart to enjoy a cup of green tea each day. Replace your daily tea or coffee fix for even bigger benefits.

Grape Seed Extract

This is a far less talked about dietary supplement than some others, but that doesn’t mean it should be ignored. Grape seed extra supplements are credited with improving your blood pressure and strengthening collagen. The extra also include anti-aging properties. Plus, it also helps prevent against things like diabetes, strokes and heart attacks. You should be on the lookout for ones that don’t contain additives and fillers, of course. As for another benefit? Research has found that the polyphenols found in grape seeds may delay the absorption of dietary fat.

Yoghurt

Yoghurt that is low-fat works as a great replacement for other similar foods that contain higher fat ingredients. So, for example, instead of enjoying dressings and dips that are bad for you, make similar products using yoghurt. Not only is this a healthier alternative, but you are also putting something with many nutritional benefits into your body. Low-fat yoghurt is a fantastic source of calcium and comes packed with loads of vitamins too. As for cosmetic benefits, yoghurt can help protect your gums and doesn’t give you cavities.

Oily fish

Do you live in a hot and sunny climate? Or do you love to travel to warm places during vacations and holiday? Then you need oily fish in your life. Oily fish is things like tuna and salmon, for instance. The omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish protect your body from UV damage. And, if you eat enough oily fish each week, the chances of developing precancerous skin lesions can be reduced by a whopping 30%.

If you haven’t already inserted blueberries into your weekly diet, what are you waiting for? When tested for antioxidants, they did better than an impressive 40 other veggies and fruits! Do be careful never to warm or cook them, however. Doing so destroys the Vitamin C they contain, which you certainly don’t want!
