3 Reasons Why You Need A Life Coach

When I research about how to be successful in life, I have always stumbled upon success stories of people and I have noticed one thing. Most of them (if not all) have a life coach. And so I wonder, if all these successful people have life coaches, why are most people resisting the idea of having a life coach?

Whatever the reason people may have, one of them would probably because they think they can do it on their own. And while other people have garnered success on their own, more people are successful too because they chose to have a life coach. You can achieve massive success with a help of a coach if you accept the fact that you need help. I believe everyone will save themselves from a lot of stress, time and money in the long run.

If you’re still unsure if you need a life coach, here are three reasons on why you need one:

  1. Most of us know what to do but not all of us are going to do what we know. Take losing weight as an example, we all know that proper diet and exercise will help use lose weight and be healthy. But a lot of people are still overweight. Why? Because we lack action. A life coach will help us do what we have to do to achieve our goals, to take action to bring us closer to our goals.
  2. We are better off working on the things we already know and get help from the areas we lack knowledge from than doing everything on our own. I like to think of life coaches as a guide or a map to my goals. If I travel towards my goals on my own, it would take so much time and energy because I don’t know what to do or which steps to take. Having a life coach however will save me more time and energy because they act as my tour guide. They know the most efficient way to get to your goals faster.
  3. We become a better version of ourselves. How? Life coaches help  us discover our inner most desires, goals and in that process, we know more about ourselves and that is the first step to being successful.

October-fast!

October is here! Time flies so fast! Next thing I’ll know it’ll be my 26th birthday already! haha There’s nothing much about this post except that I miss blogging here! I have been so caught up with too much work and traveling that I can barely keep up with everything.

hello october

Looking back, there are so many things I achieved this year and so many things happened to me this year, all grateful for the bad things and good things since I always believe everything happens for a reason. There are still so many things to do in the remaining months of 2015 and I am really looking forward to having a blast at the end of the year :) I can’t wait to travel more and see more of the world!

Meanwhile, here are my favorites for October:

Must-watch TV Series: Hard to choose but I recommend Season 2 of How To Get Away With Murder and Season 3 of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD! :)

Must-eat food: Devil’s Moist Chocolate Cake (yep I baked two batches!) and Mean Tacos (Basically just beef tacos with tomato paste and sour cream, some veggies if you like. The secret is lots of spices! And my favorites are cumin seed and cayenne pepper!)

Must-watch Movie: I am too late but I just watched “Spy” a few days ago and it was too funny to not watch it again haha! Melissa and Jude Law sure make a great team. If you haven’t watched it yet, you better watch it now! :)

Must-do adventure: Visit the tallest building near you! I had so much fun in Harukas 300 in Osaka, Japan and it wasn’t only because of the view at night but they had a mini show as well which entertained the people there.

Must-try exercise: Lifting weights! I just started lifting barbells with plates and I must say it’s a great achievement for me since I started lifting 3lbs dumbbells only hehe :p If you are looking for a challenging exercise, then start lifting!

10 Things I Learned From Working In A Fashion Company

Fashion is everywhere.

1. Nothing is permanent. Especially fashion trends.

2. Anything is possible. The only thing that will limit your creativity is your mind. If you can create it in your thoughts, you can make it in real life.

3. Just because it’s not happening today doesn’t mean it’ll not happen, sometimes, it’s just not in season. Like those leather boots.

4. Madness is beautiful. Just like combining a splash of neon colors in one outfit.

5. Everyone is “in” Fashion, just in different dimension. That unfashionable person sitting next to you was once fashionable in their generation.

6. If you invest your money in expensive handbags, clothes and shoes, make sure your body will last longer than all of them. Unless you have tons of money to dispose then go ahead and shop ’til you drop!

7. You will never go wrong if you go black. Like one of my favorite quotes says, “Women who wear black live colorful lives.” I couldn’t agree with this more!

8. You don’t have to show a lot of skin to be sexy. The sexy people I know are the ones who knows how to dress impeccably in any occasion. But the sexiest people I know are those who have great style with even greater minds. Sensible and stylish.

9. Sometimes, people remember the clothes, not the person wearing it. So for all the ladies out there, go ahead and buy that red dress! They won’t only remember what you wore but they would remember you. Don’t be afraid to make a statement.

10. Everyone needs a good pair of shoes in their lives.
